Download the Service Victoria app from the App Store and Google Play store.

To download the Service Victoria app you'll need:

For iPhones

• iPhone 5 or newer
• iOS11 or above

For Androids

• a phone newer than 6 years
• OS 6.0 or newer

Once the app has downloaded, head back to the Medicare app and follow the prompts to add your certificate.

Android and iPhone users - you might need to update

Here’s how to check what version of the app you have.

For iPhones:

1. Tap 'Settings'


2. Scroll the list of apps until you see 'Service Victoria'. Tap 'Service Victoria'


3. Under 'About' check to see the version is at least 1.14.0 or higher

On Android:

1. Go to device settings


2. Tap 'Apps' or 'Application manager'


3. You will get a list showing all the apps installed on your device. Tap 'Service Victoria'. You will be taken to the app info page


4. Go to device settings. Look for version 1.14.0-2589-citizen or higher

Here’s how to update your Service Victoria app.

For iPhones:

1. Open App Store


2. At the top right, tap the profile icon


3. Scroll until you see the Service Victoria app. Tap 'Update' next to the app

On Android:

1. Open the Google Play store app


2. At the top right, tap the profile icon


3. Tap 'Manage apps & device'. Apps with an update available are labelled 'Update available'


4. Scroll or search for the Service Victoria app


5. Tap 'Update' next to the app
