You must have a fishing licence if you're between 18 to 70 years. Fisher cards are optional if you're under 18 or 70 and over.

We’ll mail out your new fisher card to you within 4 weeks. You don’t need a physical card to go fishing.

Your licence becomes active 30 mins after you've paid.

The junior fisher card is only valid until you turn 18.
Please note people 70 and over or under 18 years old don't need a fishing licence in Victoria. You may want to get a fisher card instead.
