How to find your licence in the app

1. If you use an iPhone, download the Service Victoria app from the App Store.
2. If you use an Android phone, download the Service Victoria app from the Google Play store.
3. Open the app.
4. Log in to your Service Victoria account from the app.
5. You should see your digital licence under the heading 'My cards'.

When a Fisheries Officer asks to check your licence

Fisheries Officers conduct regular on-the-spot licence checks with anglers in Victorian waters.

If asked for your digital licence while you're out fishing:

1. Open the app on your phone.
2. The Fisheries Officer will use their phone to send a request from their app to yours.
3. The app will ask you to either accept or reject the request.
4. If you accept, your app will confirm to the Officer that you hold a valid licence.

If you reject a licence request from a Fisheries Officer via the app, you may be asked to prove your licence status another way.

You can do this with your e-receipt, which stays valid for 28 days from when you bought it.

If you don't have either the app or your e-receipt on you, a Fisheries Officer can ask for your ID to check your name against the Fisheries database.
